I’ve been writing some stories that I’d like to share with you. They’re part of my decades-long journey of discovering how to be more real with others and with God. On one hand, what I’m learning about being real with people is helping me be more real with God. On the other hand, what I’m learning about being real with God is helping me be more real with others.

Each story is followed by a few questions to help you ponder your own journey a bit, and then I typically share a few of my own reflections as well. I invite you to read a story or two, and maybe share one with someone close to you so you can discuss the reflection questions a bit.

For starters, I’m inviting you — my friends and family — to be the first to experience these stories and provide me with your impressions and feedback. I try to add a new story every few weeks or so. I’m also experimenting with adding audio and video to some of the stories, including related music and videos, and audio recordings of me reading a few of the stories.

My hope is to publish the stories as a book sometime soon, and also to launch this soon as a publicly accessible website with some combination of sample stories, blogs, podcasts, etc. So please help me learn and grow by letting me know your impressions and feedback using the feedback block at the very bottom of each page.

Most of all, my prayer is that these stories will help reader and writer alike to more richly experience real time with God and with the loved ones around us.
